I was tasked with building a subscription model for our consumer base that would add value and a more comprehensive look at our users health based around the QardioArm. This would focus on the surrounding factors that can affect a users blood pressure on a day to day basis.
I looked at including environmental elements such as temperature and air quality. Other tributes I wanted to include in our subscription model was the ability to track your health over a 30 day period providing a clear picture to share with the user’s health care professional.
We also introduced a new feature not found in the main consumer app, the ability to track your medication and attribute that to health readings and chart this to see the efficiency of a user’s health program, and giving the the data to outline for your doctor to monitor.
From a business perspective we focused on blood pressure as the QardioArm was the most popular device we had in the market and the month to month monitoring I had added, proved that when a program was started we could more easily retain users.
